Ok, this weekend is the last one of the Vegan challenge that i am on. i said i would do it and i did! but now im going raw. been kinda doing it a bit anyway. But the problem is, im not in the april challenge. and im starting before the may challenege....so there is that.
then, what do i do about the foods that i have here? donate them? i DO NOT want them around! when i went vegan i i cleaned it out. i also stopped all processed flour, sugar, and fake sweeteners. i like Stevia. so i been doing that for a month as well. and incorporating green smoothies the last week.
and, is Mrs. Dash raw??
ok, thanks to all!
Peace out! Jehote

I simply donated my food. People were happy.
I don't know what Mrs Dash is? What is that?
Congratulations on your raw journey

it's not raw, but many here do use seasonings since such a small amount is used. it is up to you and how it makes you feel

In My area or Southern Calif. The Post Office, your Mail Man, will be picking up cans and unopen Foods for Food Banks. You just have to leave it by your Mail Box On May 9, 2009.

I got a whole new crop of spices from frontier.
They don't promise raw - but process at low temperature, organic, best bet I think.
But I'm pretty dogmatic, and all or nothing kind of personality. If I'm doing it - oh I'm doing it big time. If there is any wiggle room, I'm wiggled free before too long, lol!
My pat advice: stock up on huge quantities of epsom salts. At the first unpleasant sign of detox - take a nice hot bath, for as long as you can, with 2-4 cups of epsom salts in it.

you can never go raw too early... AND you can join in the challenge at any point of the month so go ahead and join today :)
everyone has to find their 'zero' point with raw. some people allow spices, bee pollen, honey etc in their diet and others don't. you just need to decide for yourself. for me... i am a little more forgiving... i look at the big picture... my life is WAAAAAY healthier than it was 2 years ago and that's my focus. making it more healthy but also making it doable. if having mrs. dash makes raw doable for you... then add it. if it doesn't matter... then don't.
hope that helps...

I just brought my non-raw foods into work and parcelled it out! LOL The takers were appreciative!
