Yesterday I got on the swingset with the boy I nanny. I began to swing. It felt good, like I was a child. Brings it all back.

Funny part is, whenever I would swing as an adult, I would get sick feeling in my stomach. Yesterday It did not happen!!! Another benefit of raw...wooohooo.

Older man there said he too felt like a kid playing at the playground. Said he had already played in the dirt today. Said too bad you cannot do it alone or people look at you funny.

I said key is to not worry what people think.

The day in the life of a child.Swingin n playin in dirt.

Hmmm, very interesting. I have never been able to swing as a kid or adult, but haven't tried it since going Raw.

About ten years ago I had an extreme case of poison ivy and went to an amusement park and got extremely ill on the spinning tea cups. My little nephews thought it was funny that I was goinng green around the gills and got the sucker going even faster. I had to spend the rest of the day on the ground in the shade!

Well, I didn't kow that poison ivy is extremely taxing on the liver. After that I lost my ability to spin and swing without feeling sick.

Until I went raw. Whatever mechanism that is had adjusted itself in the last three years since I'm high raw.

As a matter of fact, I was swinging at the park just this morning with my dog running around! and I'm 37!!

Reading this thread brings to mind the moving of the lymph system. I like to use a small rebounder at home because it is fun and a great way to move toxins out of the body. Swinging may very well be a lymph mover too because it has that same zero gravity effect at the changing of each motion direction just like rebounding does. I'll have to give it a test swing and check it out. :)

Yup, yup!!!!! I always make a point of swinging on the swings when I take Quentin to the park. Leaning all the way back and staring at the sky feels like flying.
