I drink a gallon or more a day of water. I use a Pur filter but was wondering what is the best water for a raw lifesyle? And if you buy water doesn't it make a lot of waste with the jugs and bottles? That's why I use pur filters.
Thanks!
Matthew

ANY kind of filtered water you drink is better than non. I agree that using a filtration system is better than tons of bottles.

I have Aquasana on my kitchen and shower.

i have a reverse osmosis filter system installed in the kitchen. very convenient and approximately 84 million times better than city tap water. but i have also heard that 100% natural spring water is the best.

The local raw food guru is all about ionized water.

I have also heard of this mret water deal -suppose to be "better" than ionized water.

I use britta filters but certainly want something better. Am concerned most about pharmaceuticals and carcinogens.

Anybody really dig into this?

I have aquasauna, but i really don't know what the PH level is of the water and what it does/does not take out. I tried some water from a Nikken filter on the weekend, and was blown away by the taste and the quality. It filters out all the bad stuff and then remineralizes the water and balances the PH level. It's around the size of a culligan water bottle and you can sit it on a counter top and you just pour tap water into it. I'm saving up for one, i think its around $400

I use distilled water because I want H2O and nothing else in my water.

I don't believe Alissa's recommends any one kind...?

here's some info. Be sure to click on this link too (http://www.aquasana.com/assets/Performance+sheet.pdf):

good question on the amount. I currently try for 100-120 oz. per day if I can manage it.

We have the reverse osmosis filtration system with the ultra violet light throughout our house and we use reusable glass water bottles when we are out.

We believe this is the cleanest, safest and best system for us.

Water is super important. A natural spring is living water. Type in Find A Spring and see if there is one near you.

Great that you are drinking a Gallon a Day. I try to get My Water Fresh from the Garden.

I've been doing quite a bit of research on this and come to the conclusion ~ If you can find a living spring (not contaminated) near you, that would be best.

2nd, and the one we're probably going to get is ionized water system.

3rd, imo is RO

I've asked quite a few people during my Rawkin Radio (http://RawkinRadio.com) interviews their choice and many are now saying ionized. Be conscious of not paying $2000 more for a direct sales system that's not really been proven to be better than the next lower priced system that's $2,000 less.

Try to find a clean spring in your area. If you are in New England, send me a message, I could help you find one near you.
