Hey guys! My birthday is coming up next week (turning 20) and I'd like to make a cake that SAD eaters will enjoy as much as the evil counterpart. I've found a few yummy recipes but most are incredibly time consuming (working full time, plus school, plus caring for 13 animals and house cleaning leaves me little extra time) AND require a dehydrator.

Ideally something without hard to find ingredients that would be suitable for kids as well. Also, I'm not sure how possible this is but recipes without large quantities of nuts would be appreciated. I find they make me sick (makes it reeeally hard to get enough calories). But, if anything I could just have a very small sliver.

Thanks in advance :)

This one is an icecream pie/cake. Its easy to make just takes some time to freeze. Kids love it. Cheesecake is always a hit too.

A coworker once made me a raw cake that had a base of dried figs (soaked to rehydrate), almonds (I think), and carob. She frosted it with whipped avocado sweetened with honey and flavored with carob (better than it might sound). Sorry, all I know is that she found the recipe by googling for it. IT was so delicious (and thoughtful) and I know that all she had in the way of equipment was a food processor. Oh, and everybody else at work was of the opinion that actually, this is really good!

or cut a shape of a cake out of watermelon and decorate it with other fruits.

Thanks so much guys, this is great! There are so many beautiful recipes here that I want to try =D The ice cream cake looks amazing and simple.

I think I've decided which one I'm making, though I can't recall if I got it from this thread or from my other searching. In case anyone is interested and it ISN'T from this thread, it looks absolutely divine. The recipe can be found here:
