See, you could tell them in answer to the whole kids thing that you know a woman who was a student that that's all she feeds her kids. ;) That probably would've sent them over the edge though.:p

I'm going to make my mom watch that and say see, raw food is being promoted, it's just not widely done to the public yet.

I found it fascinating that the guys went for the 'junk food' first: the potato chips and 'fries'! And the woman went for the dessert :D Shows you that people want to eat what they know, what they're comfortable with, what they can recognize, especially at first. I have to say, that pizza looked delish.

They probably wanted to try the junk food as that would be their dealbreaker with raw food in general. If there wasn't the possibility of raw treats and desserts I don't think a lot of people would try it because we're bombarded with ads and occaissions with junk food now a days people start believing it's PART of a "healthy" diet, and everyone eats it...

I can't imagine if they didn't like the junk food that they would try any of the healthier entrees lol.

Thanks for sharing - that was so much fun to watch - great for me on this another DAY 1 on just eating raw food. Those guys were such "chickens" though - I only saw them try the chips and the brownies. At least the woman oohed and aahed over the cheesecake! They just don't know - do they - what they're missing! Hopefully though, they and others will catch on.

I love how Alissa looks like a healthy, normal woman-not super thin, not overweight, just perfect for her. She seems very happy in general and passionate about raw, but in a believable way.
