Hey guys, i been following a strict Vegan diet in regards to diet. its going well and im throwing in a few green smoothies with berries and bananas every day now as well. trying to have less processed food in my system. like artificial sweeteners etc, processed sugars and flours. etc.
but im wondering about grains and beans? do you on a raw diet stress about these?
or is it: vegetables and greens, fruits, other greens like wheat grass etc, nuts, and then grains and beans. is that the order that you try to fill nutritionally everyday?
any help i can get until i get my book and dvd in would be GREATLY appreaciated!
thanks all!

Green Smoothies with Berries and Bananas are Super. Yes cut out all the White packaged Stuff.
You can eat Edomane, you can sprout Mung Beans, Black Eyed Peas to name a few.
I don't follow any order. Some here do the 10-10 or something. Now that would STRESS ME.
Some says it takes the Book about a week to arrive but it seems to take longer when you are READY NOW for it.
So stick with the Smoothies, Salads, Apples, Nuts etc. until your Meals on Pages arrive. Again..........WELCOME.............
****Alissa is going to be on FOX 25 tomorrow at 8;45 if you are in the North East. She's in Maine. There are too Many Foxes on My T.V.:) but it might be on the Direct TV airwaves, so I will be Flipping Channels.
I ordered my book and dvd last Monday, got here exactly one week on...Monday.
I didn't worry about grains and seeds. I kept it very simple the first three weeks. One or two smoothies everyday, a salad with olive oil dressing{cold pressed} and all the fruit I wanted.
I carried a big bag of fruit and salad with me everywhere.
I plan to do that the rest of my life.

I personally do not consider grains or beans to be ideal human food and so avoid them.
If you do want to eat them then you will need to sprout them first. There are lots of recipes that include them but I find them rough and difficult to digest.

I don't find them tasty at all, and it's work to sprout them... fruit is so much easier and tasty to eat with no seasonings or preparation.

I agree with Sport and have also read that grains and beans need to be sprouted and steamed in order to neutralize the enzyme inhibitors. Therefore, I avoid them.

I agree with this also. I have only eat sprouted buckwheat on my own; all the other sprouted beans and grains I have only had at raw restaurants. Otherwise, I avoid them, since they hurt my insides.
