I'm seriously thinking about saving up for a vita-mix! For those who have one...what is your favorite recipe?
If you want to make soup....how long do you run it before it starts to cook?

I just mainly make Smoothies. Just feel the outside and it will tell all. So Start the Savings. My Best to you.

I've got sooo many favorites. Almost impossible to choose one.
Almond milk would have to be a favorite. Especially blended with dates, cacao, and frozen bananas.
The water and meat of a young coconut blended with 2 T. lemon juice, 2 T. maple syrup, 1 T. coconut oil, and 1/2 to 1 cup cashews.
And Green smoothies, of course. :)

The time it takes to get soups warm depends on the temp of your ingredients. I often start with my frozen tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions, so it takes a little longer. I just put my hands on the outside while it runs and stop the machine when it feels warm. It's easy enough to just run it a little longer, when the soup is not warm enough on first try. My soups normally take about 2-3 minutes. BTW, I LOVE MY VITA-MIX! Best investment ever.:D
