Sunflower sprouts are one of my fav sprouts I just love them in pretty much everything! I have the seeds to sprout them and a 'Fresh Greens Automatic Sprouter' I have tried twice now to sprout them but both times the sprouts closer to the center of the automatic sprout don't turn green....
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.
I change the water twice a day (morning then night) everyday.
Anyone else have this machine and sprout sunflower seeds that could help me out ?

"VeganforLife" has 2 of them. I don't have one but I use the hulled SunFlower Seeds, soak and sprout them in a jar which only takes a few days.

That sounds easy.
And so you rinse them a few times a day ?
Do you tilt the jar upside down against a wall so its on an angle ?

I rinse them several times a day. I don't have the jar full so I don't do any special tilting. Michigan Romas uses a Colander to sprout his seeds in. Seeds are so easy once you get over the Fear, to Sprout. So as long as you rinse or you can even use a Spray bottle to give them a little drink......They willl Sprout.

I do the sunflower sprouts in a shallow tray of dirt. :)
