Just wanted to post and offer a bit of inspiration to anybody who googles for a way to beat their psoriasis without having to slather themselves with cream every night. I started going raw almost a month ago and I have definitely seen the effects of an alkaline diet and at least 30 minutes of direct sunlight per day.
Week 1: My psoriasis became mostly flake free, with only dull red spots remaining.
Week 2: My psoriasis was completely flake free, and was now a dull pink shade.
Week 3: My psoriasis spots have receded to smaller, circular spots as opposed to wide swaths over my skin, now getting closer to matching my skin tone but still pink.
I'm now at the end of Week 4 and my psoriasis is about 80% gone. What were once flare-like patterns over parts of my body are now small pink islands.
Not only that, I lost 25 lbs, and I was able to do it with an array of salads, fruits, nuts, and the occasional packaged raw bar and kombucha drink to fix my digestive system. Also, I have to get credit to the Boku Superfood I bought, which boosted my nutrition so much that I don't think I could have gotten through the cravings without it. Drinking a serving of that 3 times a day for the first week made it bearable. Gotta get to work but I hope others can relate to my story and share.
