New from NYC/NJ

Hi,

I am 31/m from the NYC/NJ area. I have been "methodically" eating some variation of a diet with raw foods since about 2000. I always have been curious about the effects of diet and nutrition on health, psychology, spirituality, etc.

I have learned about raw food by trial and error and reading tons of literature on the subject over the years. I have essentially used my body as a labratory, experienced all the ups and downs, and I have leveled off at a reasonable, non-zealous approach to diet and wellness. I remember how diet was all consuming at one point, but I have really chilled out. I am focused on living life and growing in other areas while keeping a balanced approach to life..(cliche to the left) :) I love learning new things, so please share...I tend to gravitate towards positive people with passion, goals, etc.

Hey now....how youuu doin' A-oh yoooouz in my neck of da woods. Are you in NJ or NYC? I'm in NJ GSP X135 hahaha everything is associated with the GSP in Jerzeeeee.

Well welcome...I'm basically a newbie myself...think I will be for sometime. Trying to get it together and go full blast...def think as weather gets warmer [and STAYS warmer] it will be easier for me to be HI raw.

I like meeting new ppl and looking for more active ppl to hang with...love my friends [they are my chosen family] but the some lazy butts!! Sadly I tend to be that way if I'm around them too long LOL They all think I'm nuts because I'm always walking or riding my bike places. I love bike riding!

Welcome welcome! I know what you mean about trying every form of diet and experimenting with raw. It took me a while to get the experience with it that confirmed everything i read about raw food and cooking denaturing it. I wish you the best of luck
