So I started police academy about a month ago and have been doing alright with the raw for the most part. I have a green smoothie for breakfast, a raw bar and banana for a snack, salad at lunch, fruit in between, ....

the problem comes in when I get home. I am just so darn hungry and don't know what to eat for dinner. I don't want to eat another salad, I'm too tired to make anything gourmet raw... and so I resort to non-raw foods and eat a lot!

Any tips on what I should have for dinner? I'm thinking maybe I should just do a green smoothie and fruit since I'm looking to lose a few pounds as well. I'm not sure if my hunger is just cravings or real hunger. Gah.

Any advice?

Welcome. You can do smoothies. Or you can make batches of soups (savory smoothies) in advance so you don't have to worry about making anything when you get home. You can make them filling by using avocado, nuts or oil.

If you are starving when you get home and always hungry that is your body crying out for carbs and you are not eating enough sweet fruit. If you don't end up eating enough carbs you end up eating a lot of fat until you're stomach feels full instead of hunger subsiding. UP your fruit intake and maybe eat some more fruit before dinner or with your meal and make a smoothie or a veggie salad or zuchini pasta.

On your day off or when you have time, do a lot of your Food Preperation, such as cutting, chopping and store in containers. When you come home hungry your Food will be easy to prepare. There are also dishes you can make ahead and come home and eat.
