What has raw changed for you in your creative life?
I am interested. For me, my art is easier to create as well as I am astounded at how it shows up on the canvas. The brain gets sharper so does the creative flow I suppose. Its nice.
What about you?

Hi colorawdo girl! Artist here myself. My work has always been very colorful, so it might be too soon to tell how raw might affect it. I've only been raw a little over a year, and some of the subtler things take time to show up. I would say, however, that it increases sensitivity to the finer vibrations in general, which in turn would show up in art. For me however, even major influences take time to surface. For instance, it took going to the desert for 4 years before that started showing up. Going to the tropics took less time, but still...It seems that I have to literally digest something in my inner landscape before it gets known on the visible side of things. Being introverted and highly-sensitive by nature has a lot to do with it too. Hope this makes any sense.

Since I've neglected my creative side, art-wise, anyway, I get stuck at the very beginning. I want to create things, but I don't go to my paper or canvas inpsired. Once in a while something will gradually come out anyway.
That's part of the reason I am working my way up to 100% raw. I'm just not feeling open yet.

One day I will draw again, Bette, as long as you keep posting your beautiful creations. One day I will tell you that I bought myself some soft pastels and some charcoal and soft pencils and maybe whatever it takes to do watercolors. You'll see. I can feel it coming! You are truly an inspiration and I love you! :D

Got in a space for free flow of my creativity. It is so easy for me now, I just start and let it flow. without the voices and the struggle ....and I always love the way it comes out. Raw creativity is one cool thang.

i understand things better and my comprehension rate improves, as well as my reading speed and numerous other bonuses. i also feel better and am more inspired to write stuff (even though it may not be the best)... i do enjoy studying more, because my head is more clear and able to retain information better, long term. when raw, i have nearly a 100% retention rate of whatever i read... when not raw, i feel groggy, get tired easier and creativity comes to a near dead stop.. i also read quite a bit slower, and my reading retention rate drops to the low 90's or even 80's, instead of high 90's.
in short.. my brain feels better and works better when i eat my raw veggies. i can even learn 2 languages at once & not get them confused. :) i feel the power!
i'm not very creative artistically. i can make roses out of frosting.. and um.. i used to be able to do slightly better than terrible to mediocre still life drawings... lol now i just write stuff that is mediocre and i enjoy studying stuff and acquiring facts about random or obscure things and people.

OOOooh I love it,,thankx a bunch..roses out of frosting is cool. Writing I love too.....thankx again...
I had my raw attempts and some learning experience - when stuffed and cooked - i am tired and sleepy and not creative.
I was always into saturated colours and fresh palette, but the ideas and ease of painting come when i am on fruits or juices for few days. I am not sure how this will be in the future when i will be raw for longer period of time.
I know it will be better!
Nature is my favourite subject and inspiration already - i might go more spiritual or lyrical and far more"productive" We will see!
I will raport it!

This is very different than I think what you had in mind when asking how raw food has affected my creativity, but it was profound for me.
I was a professional glass artist--I still do a commission here and there, but not too much. I used to have ten employees, owned my own gallery/studio, and sent my work to 200 galleries and even museums......
I wanted children. The day I had In Vitro (I was 46 and needed some help), my employees moved the last load out of my studio for me while I was on bedrest, and I watched from the bathroom window.
For a couple years, my twins/breastfeeding etc were my main focus.
But I am a very CREATIVE person. You know? If a person had only one adjective to describe them, mine would be "CREATIVE."
So here's me, not making much "art", my house is a crash pad, and I'm teaching my own kids as well as others at my homeschool co-op. I'm teaching two Uncooking Classes and we make fruit leather. I make lots of colors and will take it home to dehydrate for them. The following week, they'll make "edible Valentines."
So I get this stuff home and I begin working with it. I neglect everything. My kitchen's a mess, I'm up all kinds of hours, and I'm making paintings out of my fruit leather.
Now, I want to go into business with it.
And I think it's cool that I can make "functional art" that feeds us spiritually as well as physically. And after neglecting everything else to make some for like, a week, realize that I am an ARTIST still, no matter what the medium.
It's going to be difficult though, especially when your kids eat all your creations.
Thanks for asking.
