I hope it's allowed to talk about tea on here, I know it's not raw.
As many of you know I was finally able to gain 40 lbs on the raw diet last year but a small part of that was fat, I don't have a belly but I don't have a six pack either. I should also say I'm still only about 75% raw but I changed my 25% cooked to less unhealthy foods like cooked lentil soup and brown rice pasta with raw sauce.
I'm now trying to loose about 5 lbs before resuming my weight gain. I was having a hard time eating less, I used to need at least about 3000 calories a day just to satisfy my hunger since I'm very physically active.
I recently started making iced tea (green, black, oolong, rooibos) and drinking like 2 liters of it per day sweetened with calorie free stevia. I noticed that by doing this I can eat about 2000 calories and not be really hungry after that and this is helping me loose weight.
Has anyone else noticed this? This may also be able to help others trying to loose weight although raw food by itself can do that.
