Shoyu substitute for onion bread?

I love onion bread, but I can't eat anymore because of the shoyu and all of the soy as it is not good for thyroid.

Anyone have any idea what I can use as a substitute? I made the best chili the other night and would love some onion bread to go with my next batch.

Just skip it and use a little sea salt and extra water instead. :)
