I bought some green beans and I would like to marinade them(maybe). Just can't find a recipe. I thought maybe some oil braggs and garlic. but i am to new to know what is right. I prefer it does not have nuts or spicy spices (kid with issues). I do not have a dehydrator yet. Any suggestions?
Thank you

What about marinating them over night in olive oil, lemon juice or a small bit of nama shoyu (or some organic tamari), sea salt and black pepper? I'm not a Braggs fan so that's just my personal preference. Sea salt softens up most veggies. And sure, throw in some garlic and fresh herbs. I've marinated asparagus and broccoli this way and it's lovely. Haven't tried the green beans yet.

I don't have Braggs either LOL. I have organic Tamari so I will give it a try. Thanks!

I actually have an old bottle of braggs sitting on a shelf from the days I when I started out with Alissa's book in Sept 2007. A lot of her recipes call for Braggs but I just couldn't warm up to that flavor. I prefer tamari or nama shoyu. I find it much better tasting (of course in small amounts for me as that stuff can be strong too) :)

You can also warm them up in the dehydrator to soften them some. Using your version, I would add some vinegar. But it sounds Great.
