I just went and bought the dvd called "Eating" by ravediet.com. I have to say that it was done incredibly well and really moved me with all it's facts, statistics and information straight from doctors about a healthy plant based diet. I highly reccommend this to watch and I'm seriously considering giving a copy to every one of my family members. It debunks all the myths about meat, protein, fish, diary etc and at the end goes into how animal production is harming out planet. If you weren't a believer before you sure will be after this dvd. People can turn a blind eye and say they're not responsible for animal cruelty and global warming but it's just not true. Buy buying meat and dairy and supporting it you are part of the problem. Anyways i reccommend this dvd to everyone.

I can tell you I had a hard time sleeping after watching that dvd, i literally wanted to run out and show everyone i know... but they would think im crazy... So this morning I called my mom and talked to her about it and she just kept telling me im wrong and that if there was one cure out there for everything, people would know about it, and yeah the government and the fda are a "little" corrupt, but that wouldn't stop people from finding out...

I'm pretty upset right now. I said fine if you don't want to believe me, but as your daughter it is my responsibility to at least tell you that you can live happy and healthy and for cheaper as well.

I'm a little sick of people saying if there was a cure for cancer they'd know about it... seeing as buying groceries is pretty normal and no one gets rich off it i can't see how that would be promoted or believed to be the cure for cancer.

sometimes i just want to move away to a remote island... i can't help feeling guilty for all the unhealthy people in my life... it's not their fault they don't know, but just all the negative energy and negative attention they give me even for saying nothing, just walking by with fruit in my hand is getting to me. People think that this information would be well known if it was healthy... well it is well known, just not in north america where people grew up thinking they know better. And look how negative everyone is to everyone that mentions a simple natural diet leads to a long healthy disease free diet, of course they couldn't advertise to the public. But they don't believe me, it must not be right or more people would be doing it. lol

Hey Veronica, just relax and enjoy your new lifestyle. If somebody wants to find out the truth they will,-I would probably also be quite annoyed if the others would keep trying to convince me about something I'm not interested in.
Why are you so bothered about the other peeps opinions? Strengthen yours and you can help everyone else by being a lovely raw example.
Enjoy :)

I'm not a believer. Either something is or it isn't. Belief has very little to do with truth.... except that most don't know or want to know the truth and settle for their beliefs. It's comfy.

If you weren't a believer before you sure will be after this dvd.

You create your reality. If you focus so much on other people's negativity, you will experience more of it. Law of Attraction.

I'm not focusing on them. I'm focusing on me. But everyone has those people in their life whether they are family friends or coworkers that always complain about everything wrong with them or go out of their way to say they're more worried about how i eat than how they do.

...everyone has those people in their life whether they are family friends or coworkers that always complain about everything wrong with them or go out of their way to say they're more worried about how i eat than how they do.

That's not true. When I was where you are, I did. I don't anymore. I changed MY attitude and no one, NO ONE bothers me anymore about what I eat. NO ONE!

From YOUR perspective "every one" does... not from mine. It's how we view things and the people we draw and their attitudes and perspectives.

You can say that, but it doesn't make it true... You are most definitely focusing on them....I'm not saying this to 'pick on you', but in the hopes that you will wake up to the facts.... Read a book about the Law of Attraction....you may find it helpful in dealing with other people and their opinions...

same here....people barely notice what I'm eating...! I don't announce it....I just eat it....enjoy it....and let them eat and enjoy their food without giving my opinion on the healthfulness of it (even if they're eating a big greasy slice of pizza or cheeseburger...!!):D

I'm not focusing on them. I'm focusing on me. But everyone has those people in their life whether they are family friends or coworkers that always complain about everything wrong with them or go out of their way to say they're more worried about how i eat than how they do.

I understand where you're at. You understand there is no separation. I am you, you are me, we are one. Not to say we don't have our own distinct personalities, life purpose and way. I believe what you're grappling with is beautiful actually because you're tuned into this. It's sometimes difficult to understand what this is about and it's doubly difficult at times to convey it to others. Both in terms of collective consciousness and the rawfood lifestyle. So I can understand the intensity of your feelings.

I echo what has been said. Continue to focus on yourself and breathe. The folks who are ready to alter their awareness and lifestyle will see what you're doing. The only person we have the power to change is ourselves. And you're doing just that! And you're doing great!

Much peace!
