You're using cooked peanuts right? Raw are toxic.

Ingredients:
4 cups raw peanuts (that have been soaked, sprouted, and dehydrated dry)
2 T olive oil
1 tsp water

Directions:
Place ingredients in blender (Total Nutrition Center) and blend on high. Continue to blend until desired consistency.

Thank you!

I am using "raw" peanuts according the supplier but they have been blanched so they aren't truly raw.

What is the additional benefit to soaking, sprouting and dehydrating?

Raw peanuts don't taste very good and most contain alfatoxin which is carcinogenic. I would recommend trying to make walnut or almond butter, they taste much better and you don't need to add oil.

Be careful with almonds though because almost all almonds from USA are pasteurized with cancer causing chemicals since 2007, even those that are labeled "raw" are not raw. I now get almonds from spain or italy but because they are so expensive I now mostly use walnuts.

Wild jungle peanuts are yummy ! You can get them raw and organic and wild jungle peanuts are free from aflatoxins. Aflatoxins are toxic substances made by molds. These aflatoxins are very toxic to the liver even in very small amounts.
