Raw Restaurant Map

Hey All, I started making this today (at work) lol

I'm adding raw restaurants, or ones that can make raw food to the north american map. I thought it'd be great for newbies and those that travel. Anyone can add to it and it's got Canada, Washington and California done already. :)

To ADD a location,
click the button that says save to my maps, and then you have to log in/create a google account, once it's added to your profile then you will see a grey edit button and you can add to it.


on the left beside the map there is a grey button that says edit. Click that, then at the top search bar type in the address of the restaurant, google will locate it and put a red marker on the street. At the top of the map click the blue marker button and place it over the red google marker. Now you can type in the restaurant name and address and click save!

Hi..I wanted to know where these were too. Had an email with raw rest guide but lost it. As I will be traversing the countryside ,I am interested. Some of the ones you listed have no state? You said you were just starting it so I be patient. awww Thankx a bunch

What do you mean some of them have no state? Do the little blue markers come up when you click on the link? I was totally slacking at work today and im blown away with how many restaurants are in california, i knew there were a bunch, not a ton! It would probably be easier to zoom out and find what state you want to look at and you click on the little marker and it gives u the name and address of the restaurant and shows you where it is on the map.

lol sorry i just fiddled with it to figure it out. I posted instructions at the top, you need to click the edit button and search up the location and add it.

I have finished adding every restaurant on http://www.soystache.com/rawrestaurants.htm

If you have any more please add! It's cool to look at when you zoom out to see where they all are. :)

I must be blind - I can't see an edit button anywhere.

Marker 49 in Northville Michigan should read Red Pepper Deli.

This is great - I will keep checking for more.

I couldn't figure out to add. But, could you add Pure Joy in Sacramento? 4th & N Street in the Board of Equalization building. Excellent raw food! :)

I can add to your WA map-

Thrive, Seattle- raw vegan resturant

Natures Pantry, Bellevue, WA- health food store with in house raw food chef and raw deli, juice bar

Chaco Canyon, Seattle, WA- raw and/or vegan restuarant, juice/smoothie bar

Raw Vegan Source- raw foods store, classes, permaculture, consulting

edit- I just saw that we are supposed to add this stuff=) I will later when I have more time=)

I just added my health food co-op..we have a deli, so we're not a restaurant..but our number of raw dishes is growing (thanks to me muahahahaha) so anyone who travels in Indiana and wants some rawsome food, can come to the store !

AWW I'm glad. I just like looking at maps before trying to guess where places are in relation to another, so much handier when planning road trips... i think i need to move to california tho, else i may perish in the winter here

I see that Radha Yoga and Eatery is on the map. I don't if there is anyone here that has ever been to this restaurant but its hardly a raw restaurant. Last time I was there they had 1 raw entree and 1 raw desert the rest was all cooked. :( They advertise that its a raw restaurant but I think with only 2 dishes I would say its not a raw restaurant.
I don't know if you want to leave it on the map or not.. I guess see what others say about it ..

The site that listed these also included all restaurants that included raw options, like in the event you live in the city and want to go out, or you're traveling and have to eat somewhere.

And I would say you australians are so very very lucky in that you're not freezing in a few inches of snow right now!! We had an ice storm last night, the roads are like skating rinks after it was sunny and nice for a week and a half. I'd give anything to get away from winter forever. I'll make my own food, i dont care
