Does anyone know what temperature this is heated to?
Is it ever sun dried instead?

try googling... wild rice is not really rice, and i thought still had to be cooked to be digested. I feel no need to eat it.

You will see it now and again in raw recipes, often referred to as having been "sprouted," however it's not raw, and you can't sprout it. It can be soaked until it "blooms," meaning it splits and softens somewhat.

I have read also that most wild rice isn't raw but the good news a friend of mine did find a place on the internet that hers did sprout. So you can find it if you search.
