Hello all! :D
On and off in 2008 I went raw, but each time I saw the same results. I felt very burnt out and would sometimes get headaches. Though, it is nothing new to me, while eating cooked food I consistently get lethargic moods afterwards. Both times, I experienced no weight loss, which I know probably isn't a big deal, because I would go Raw for 30 days at a time. I hear about how much energy everyone has after going raw, so I know I must be doing something wrong.
I ate the same raw foods consistently, because I have to use my time sparingly. I am a junior in a high-stress college prep high school, so I have little time to prepare new meals that may not taste good... not to mention I am afraid of foods with too much flavor! :o What may have contributed to my lack of weight loss could have been that I would eat a few avocados everyday, which I now know are about 200 calories each!:(
During these 30 day periods I was 95% raw. I would use unsweetened soymilk for my raw "meal in a cup" drinks.
If anyone knows what my long fatigue may be caused by, and how I can correct it next time I go raw, it would be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear what you think!
