I've always wondered this...
...& keep forgetting to ask!
I LOVE engivita yeast, especially, but have been concerned about this aspect of it...anyone?

...& do you know if engivita yeast is as high in the B vitamins etc. as brewer's yeast?

Thanks! :D

I have a brand called "Quantum Nutritional Flakes". The ingredient label reads: Primary Nutritional Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). States it does not encourage candida or other yeast growth.

2 Tablespoons = Protein 8g, B1 640%, B2 565%, B3 280%, B6 480%, Folic Acid 60%, B12 150%

It has a better flavor than the last nutritional yeast I used which was from a bulk food bin at a health food store.

Here watch this clip http://renegadehealth.com/blog/can-you-eat-nutritional-yeast-when-you-have-candida/

It explains why nutritional yeast will not affect candida.
