For me, it's raw beans. Stomach ache. I've been practicing fermentation and I may get adventurous enough in the future to try fermenting them though and make a dip. I also need to be careful of not consuming too much fruit at once, can be too much on my brain chemistry and make me irritable.

How about you? I'm interested in learning to listen to our individual bodies. Also, something I don't tolerate initially may change later.

I have a hard time with certain nut heavy dishes. And then I sometimes have trouble with apples but other days they're all I want to eat.

Avocadoes are hit and miss with me - sometimes I can eat them with no problem, other times I can't and I feel like I have a large, painful stone for a stomach.

I have a similar problem with avocados too. Sometimes they make me feel bloated and sometimes nothing at all. Coconut, cabbage, and banana give me a bloated feeling, too many nuts give me a stomach ache.

whole nuts and seeds, I'm fine if they are in a recipe all blended up but just snacking on whole nuts and seeds I can't do.
I also have a hard time digesting sprouted beans.

Raw cauliflower, and sometimes raw marinara sauce can come back up - acid reflux. I usually am ok if I take my time and don't rush my food, but in general I find raw cauliflower to kind of "sit" in my stomach. Leaves me full for hours, but not in a pleasant way, if that makes sense.

Raw broccoli and heavy nut/dried fruit dishes.

Broccoli is so good for you and that is very frustrating for me. Even Alissa's broccoli soup is hard on me.

Sadly any cabbage or cauliflower unless it has been fermented. I have to be careful mixing sweet and fat too.

~ Sprouted grains. They're great blended, but if I don't blend them they pass right through me.

~ Beans. I think these are hard for everyone.

~ Unsoaked seeds/unblended seeds. I need to soak and/or blend my pumpkin, sunflower, flax, sesame, hemp etc.

~Eating too late at night. Gives me a stomach ache

~ Too much cacao. I love it in moderation though. But it is easy for me to overdo it with this food

~ Too much blended parsley. It basically burns my throat and stomach

~Too much of anything ;) .

In terms of how these food digest, I minimize or avoid some of them completely;

I have a hard time digesting nut rich dishes.

I can't eat very much cabbage, cauliflower or broccoli before feeling bloated.

I can't stomach sprouted chickpeas...

Not a big fan of sprouted grains, either.

My stomach does not do well with raw winter squash or sweet potato, pumpkin, etc. definitely a no, no for my system.

Dehydrated Flax seed crackers can feel pretty heavy in my tummy, too.

I'm always amazed by people who eat raw broccoli. I definitely can't do that. Raw garlic and onions can give me BAD effects! Cacao hurts. I tend to get heartburn in general on all raw, better if I blend most of the stuff with little water.

Anything with a high fat content, especially nuts. Avocados are fine.

I just started today. I started Belching...something I haven't done while on the low carb diet. Mother in law, thinks my body is shocked. No heartburn though.

Too many cherry tomatos
tomato and avocado together (still eat it though!)
more than 2 boxes of dates at a time (yes, i have found this out a few times!!)

smoothies are the killer for me. Cant have more than 1 sip!

I LOVE raw broccoli! the 1st time i tried it i hated it because it tasted 'too raw!'
now i find it has a lovely sweet flavour! i feel sorry for those who suffer from broc!

If you feel bloated after fruit, you could have candida overgrowth...!

are beans really meant to be eaten raw....? I wouldn't try that....they are hard to digest even cooked!

For me....I tried Lydia's grainless granola....1/2 cup in a little almond milk....yikes...it felt like a brick in my stomach! it's just way too dense...I won't be eating that again!

A few summers ago I was doing work-for-trade with an accomplished organic gardener. He grew a strain of broccoli that you wouldn't find in a store because it was too delicate. It was soft, almost sweet in a pleasant way.
Sigh.........maybe it's not too late to track down those seeds for my little summer garden! I'm thinking it's much more digestible, I reckon.
