I made some last night for the first time and it's still dehydrating right now. Is it supposed to be crisp like a cracker or soft? I think even after 20 hours it will be soft, it was quite moist.
Anyways, I have no idea what to put on it. I never ate bread plain before, it was always for sandwhiches and such. What would be good?

Mine is usually soft. Never does get crisp. I make it now with the onion more finely chopped.
Oh you're gonna have fun with this bread.
I like putting sprouts, avocado(mushed), tomato, onion on it.
Sometimes I grab and eat it plain.
Sometimes I put a burger between two "slices".
"da bomb cheeze and sprouts and tomato.
The Egg-less spread recipe that's floating around here is another REALLY good onion bread treat. That w/sprouts - YUM-OH!!!
It's endless what you can do with it. Use it like bread, which it is, only flat!
I mostly eat it plain. I have to watch myself, because it's sooo easy for me to overeat on it - I loves my onion bread!
I use it for my pizza crust too. *Ü*

That is exactly my plan for the onion bread that is in the dehydrator at this very moment.
I can't wait to try it.

It will be soft. Try not to get any moisture on it or it will asborb it and get slimy. I know they make a paste and put it on the bread at the local cafe

Such a favorite of mine! I have also added shredded zucchini and carrot and less onion, which tastes equally as well!
I usually do my version of a tomato cheese, which is tomato avocado, sprouts.
I Must try this eggless salad recipe...and pizza, what a great idea!
This is also a good bread: http://goneraw.com/node/2193 ...much faster to make, if you need it that day.

Oh I'm so excited now. I definitely can make this regularly and freeze it when i'd like a treat. I can't wait to try it. I just keep falling in love with every raw food meal I try. :) I'm no longer a picky eater! (I had to pick meat, cheese and bread off of everything before haha)

Well, I AM a picky eater. I pick berries, Dandelion greens, purslane, nuts, etc...so yeah, I'm a picky eater and so glad I am...
Yeah, the onion bread is VERY good!!!
I also like Alissa's crackers. Before I started this fast? I was making oodles of them...now THEY get crunchy!
I like it as a "grilled like" veggie sandwich
I like it with marinated mushrooms, bell peppers and zucchini (olive oil, sea salt and warmed and softened in dehydrator)
any nut/seed cheese or avocado
tomato
lettuce/greens or sprouts
Yum, making myself hungry.

Yes even though i just ate lunch (a few oranges) my mouth is watering at the possibilities. I made this in the circle dehydrator and it only took up 2 rings. Now I know i could make lots more at a time and freeze the rest. Let me tell you never again will i take out my contacts BEFORE cutting onions, wow I was crying so bad last night I could barely see the onions before they went into the processor lol. I have a small hand one, so i got a good work out in while chopping them haha.
I have to say with all the snow on the ground i couldn't go around picking up random greens in the yard lol they're not there. I doubt any of it would be safe if it's in the alley or near the street.

Yes, the eye tearing can get a little crazy...as can the smell of the dehydrating. A food processor helps with that...and is also why I have lessened the onions lately, and supplemented with zukes and carrot.
I made some yesterday but forgot the sunflower seeds. Still tastes good though...well, atleast the batter does. Friggin hopeless around that stuff.
