Are there any soy sauces made without soy? I know what that sounded like> duh

I'm looking for the taste of soy sauce with out using soy sauce or Braggs amino acids. I'm doing the diabetes cure of Dr. Cousens.

I don't know of any. Why not use sea salt?

found this on a quick search:

1 1/3 cups garlic vinegar (garlic removed)
5 tablespooons molasses (agave probably could be subbed here)
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

mix ingredients in a jar and shake before using

If you can't get garlic vinegar, here's the recipe:
Garlic Vinegar:
1 quart apple cider vinegar
4 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
