THis is wierd question, but....Has anyone that's been doing this for a while noticed changes in the quality/thickness of their skin (not facial skin)? It bugs me that I have super translucent skin on my legs and I'm wondering if the diet will make a difference? Maybe I have high hopes :)

Yes, I've totally done that!! I think its easier to believe if I hear that it has happened to other people. Makes me know its possible.

Cool! Then you know what I'm talking about. Okay, well my skin is clearer, healthier, stronger than when I was a kid. Hope that helps. :) Believe in yourself - it is possible.
The skin is the largest eliminatory organ, so give yourself lots of breathing room as you continue to eat raw and it heals. Keep visualizing. It's about faith - not about what others have done - just my opinion sweetheart. You have the power within you to make it happen. Believe! :-)
Much peace.

RawHeaven -
How long have you been doing raw? What is your typical day?

I've always had 'snake skin' on my legs especially the front. Been raw roughly 2 months, using coconut oil for moisturizer after spritzing with Bragg's ACV. I no longer have snake skin...1sst time in over 30yrs. It's amazing. My skin looks so good today. I have brown patches on my face from pregnancy, especially along sides, I think they are fading. I use a 75 sunscreen on my face bc 1hr in the sun & they are darker. Hope the spots clear completely!

Just believing your skin will change is nice, but it doesn't make it so. I can go outside all afternoon in the sun and believe I won't sunburn, but there won't be any denying that I sunburn anyway when as soon as I get into work that evening all of my coworkers ask me why my arms and face are beet red.

The first thing I noticed when I went 100% Raw, I mean like a couple days later was my skin. It felt different - good different. And my (then) 8 year old grandson after being Raw for about 3 months when he saw me said, "Nana! Your skin is beautiful!" and just rubbed my face and arms....awwww....! :D
You figure. Our skin is our biggest organ.
I do not burn when outside. I get a wonderful glow going...
I agree with the previous posters. Exercise, WATER, eating 100% Raw, all this will improve EVERYTHING. Physically and mentally.
Just keep doing the Raw thang!!! :p

Beautiful Skin.
While a dermatologist is trained to treat skin problems, an esthetician is trained to get.
We asked three of these skin pros to share their personal at-home recipes; whip one up at least once a month for fabulous skin. Normal/Oily Skin Ingredients: 1 tablespoon yeast 1 tablespoon baking soda.

Hi morkelkey ~ Can you post what to do with this yeast / baking soda combo? Do you have a recipe for dry skin? Thanking you in advance. *Ü*

HI juliew,
Well dear, Don't you worry so much , It depends on weather change or it might be problem of diet. Diet should contain the nutrition which balances the body activity not giving harm. So take care of your skin and do good diet.If you still in worry then you can consult a skin doctor which give you good advice on skin.
Thanks

I noticed a difference in the back of my legs yesterday, really most of my body. I think it's bc the fat layer is decreasing & I'm softer/smoother vs dry.

The skin is a soft outer covering of an animal, in particular a vertebrate. Other animal coverings such the arthropod exoskeleton or the seashell have different developmental origin, structure and chemical composition. The adjective cutaneous literally means "of the skin" (from Latin cutis, skin). In mammals, the skin is the largest organ of the integumentary system made up of multiple layers of ectodermal tissue, and guards the underlying muscles, bones, ligaments and internal organs.
When you decide to go raw- expect good results. May it be physical or emotional. I have read testimonials proving that raw food made their skin glowing and beautiful. Just keep up with raw diet and I believe you'll love the skin you're in.
