There hasn't been one person I know that can watch that movie and NOT want to at least start a change towards a raw diet.

My mom is now 80% raw after watching that my brother and sister as well... and these are people that were consuming Mc Donalds weekly prior to watching it. And i have had 8 close friends who are now, after watching it eating RAW! The biggest turn around was with my girlfriend 3 years ago she wouldn't be caught dead earing any veggie or fruit in any form. And now she is 100% raw eating all the things i am.

The biggest obstacle after having people watch Food Matters was helping them to find the RIGHT kind of foods.

And i always tell them, starting off their water is KEY. Spring water. The best source is a natural spring. And they are EVERYWHERE, there is a site (i can't seem to find it atm) that you can add a springs location for find a springs location.

If they don't have a readily accessible fresh source they can buy bottled water. Aquafina/Dasani are not spring water.. its filtered tap water. It has to say 'Spring Water' on it.

After that i tell them to look for the local farmers markets, or even local organic farms... eatting locally grown is ALWAYS better for you than going to Whole Foods, or the like.

Raw fruits and veggies and smoothies.

Smoothies consist of spirulina, maca, goji, cacao, coconut milk, and their favorite fruits/veggies! And some kind of sweetener. The clear agave is best. But they can also use raw honey.

Hope this helps someone :D

Is this a cheap ad for the film? As the film costs money to either buy or watch, I don't think this is the appropriate place to advertise it. JMHO.

Looks like it would be a good dvd to pass around to family and friends, who normally wouldn't go searching for that kind of information all over youtube, as someone just stated. It sure could just change someone's thinking!!

Thanks for sharing! :) I appreciate it!

I don't think she was advertising. I think she was sharing. :) Just like we often recommend people read The China Study, or watch Supersize Me.

i have heard good things about it b4 and just went ahead and bid on a copy on ebay. if i could get anyone to see reality, it will be well worth the $20 i'll pay.

it is so frustrating to watch those we love continue to slowly kill themselves. why isnt raw ALL over the media?? it seems to be "hidden" unless you go looking.

thx for the info that the dvd is good enough to maybe help somebody whose mind is closed.

This is awesome film and very different take- it is much easier to swallow for a conventional person, since most of the film is real doctors talking. I bought it yesterday and watched it with my 11 year old. It is a great film and I wil be buying it for some friends. I also found it at my library and put a hold on it.

A few of you guys were a bit rough on the OP. Why so quick to jump on the back of somebody just sharing? shesh

Cool!
How'd you find out about it, and know to buy it without having seen it first? ...if that makes sense, lol.

I'm All about inspiration these days :D
