View Full Version : Looking for info - RAW and autism, RAW and cancer

Okay, there are two separate branches to this post so...

1) I have a friend who has a 10 year old autistic son. I love this kid and his autism makes life so difficult at times (though he is high functioning). I have read scattered bits of info pertaining to raw greatly improving autism. If anyone knows of any articles or information sources specifically related to raw and autism I would be so so grateful if you could share them with me so that I can share them with her.

2) There's a regular customer at my work who is generally considered creepy. As in, I'll be fixing something up and turned around and find him standing RIGHT behind me, practically breathing down my neck, staring. He does this all the time, to all of us. Now it WOULD appear that he's a creepy sexual predator, but I've "known" him for a year and a half and know that he's simply depressed, lonely, devoid of hope and life. He has never seemed quite right upstairs and though he makes me uncomfortable I wonder if raw can help him.
He looks about 45 or 50 - he may be younger but if so hasn't aged well. Recently he told a coworker that he has been diagnosed with brain cancer and given a time frame. Everyone kind of thinks he is lying for attention, and knowing him that may very well be true. BUT, he may actually be sick. Is there any chance of raw helping him this late in the process? If so, as above resources would be greatly appreciated. I know it's a long shot but if he could just discover some sort of joy before he dies...

Thanks in advance!

go to the banana at the top of this screen, search shine72 in the members section. you can read through her posts, she healed her son with autism. she also has a website rawtism.com and some other blogs as well.

as for your 'friend', not sure I'd magnify that attention on yourself...perhaps someone else could plant that seed in his head.

Kristine Nolfi and John H. Tobe are two authors who believed that a raw food regimen can cure or stop cancer, if it is not too advanced. But it would take a tremendous amount of discipline and motivation. If he is not "quite right upstairs," I doubt he could do it.

Bananna - Thanks a lot! That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. As for Creepy Customer, to be honest I think he's somewhat afraid of me (I come off as strong willed and somewhat intimidating, though a lot of it is act) - so I'm not worried about me here. I'm cold and to the point with most people in person (trying to work on that) so there wouldn't be anything to attract him to me in an emotional way. But thank you for your concern :)

Thanks for the input Humanist. I can't make judgments on his mental abilities as it's pure speculation. I don't think he has much of a chance, but I'm willing to take 10 minutes to print off some info and arm him with that.
