I just started going Raw 6 days ago. I have no books but have been reading the web like crazy. I will be checking out the library to see what to add to my book shelf. I have not been hungry but think I eat to many nuts and dried fruits. I am scared about the nuts in the house with a kid with a nut allergy.
I am hoping I can find plenty of info here.
Thanks

I am new also. I began eating raw a month ago but not totally raw yet...its a process. The food prep is getting easier and I love the green smoothies that I have every morning. My goal is to increase the number of smoothies a day, go totally raw and get rid of my sweet tooth. I do recommend Alissa's book and a food prep class, I'm sure there is a certified person close to you, you can search it. Good Luck to you, Jill

Welcome to the site. I did also eat a lot of nuts at the beginning. Now I don't like them at all. It'll pass. Just focus on your goals and trust in the process.

Hi! I'm new here too. When I first went raw I made recipes I found on the net. Some of them I still make (some I didn't like). A friend lent me Alissa's book and let me say it is AWESOME! It's a book about being raw and it has a pretty big recipe section. I've been making a list of dishes I want to try. :)
*hugs*

Welcome!
I did the same thing, started off with no books but read everything I could on the net, I found it helped lots. Then I went out and bought dome books, after I'd decided which path I wanted to follow.
I'm sure you'll do fine!
:)
