I have some almonds soaking and I'm planning to make some nut balls out of them. I was wondering if I can and should make almond milk out of them 1st. Does that take away anything from the nut balls?

Peace

you should have put almond in the title or people will keep avoiding this!

i love using almond milk instead of water for my banana based smoothies. I have some in the fridge soaking right now. :)

Hrmm... I'll bite.

Not too much other than probably much of the fat and oil. Leftover pulp tends to be less dense than the whole nut (or seed). The overall flavor may also be less potent.

Try it and see.

If they are soaking........You can make your Milk if you want to. I let mine soak and I take the skin off, add water, Vita=Mix it and then strain it. You don't have to take the skin off, I just like the extra work and I like My Milk whyte.

I don't have a Recipe but you can dehydrate the Almonds, add Agave and anything else in the kitchen and ball them up and........Almond Balls. I often make creations that I Force Myself to eat.

I went on and made the almond milk with the soaked nuts. The pulp was wet and I added some flax meal. We shall see how the balls turn out....

They came out great. But I have to wonder if they would have had more flavor had I not made milk out of them 1st....

Well, there is only 1 way to find out.....
