Some sources call vinegar a folk medicine, a miracle food, a cure for arthritis. Others call it a solvent poisonous to the human body. What do you think? And why?

I personally love the stuff. I was actually about to come and find out if it's OK to eat in the raw lifestyle. I love it on my cucumbers.

Vinegar is acetic acid, but does it have an acid effect on the body? Lemons are acidic, but have an alkaline effect on the body.

I don't use it. It doesn't seem natural to me (same as salt), and the smell of it doesn't make me want to eat it.

I believe Apple Cider vinegar is raw and the rest are not. For me, I have noticed that ACV tastes wonderful and doesn't hurt my stomach but when I have tried any others in the past they make me feel ill.

I think raw organic ACV can be good for some people. I don't think the regular store bought kinds are good for anything but cleaning.

According to Internet sites, white processed vinegar is extremely acidic in the body, and to be avoided. Sweet brown rice vinegar is slightly alkaline. Apple cider vinegar is moderately alkaline.
