I am just curious, I have started seeing a new natural doctor and she really pushes eating for your blood type as well as being a big supporter of raw. Do any of you eat for your blood type as well as eating raw?

It's not possible. One precludes the other. You'll find a thread on here about that if you search.

Thanks Revvell,
That is what I have noticed from the little that I have read. I like the raw lifestyle over the blood type, the blood type seems restrictive in a lot of things.

I tried eating for my blood type for a few years. I'm O, and kept eating meat and then stopped eating things like oranges, melons and avocados as i was told they were bad for me. I didn't notice anything better, just that i felt guilty eating fruits and veggies i wasn't allowed to eat. I recently sold my books because it wasn't working for me.

Also I don't think that anyone is better off eating wheat and dairy just because of their blood type like type AB... and if most are from asia pacific i'm sure they don't consume high amounts of wheat or dairy anyways right.

i ate "right for my blood type" for a couple of years and felt better than i had before, but i'm sure that's because i eliminated wheat, meat and most dairy. but i still had problems--i was eating lots of soy as a type A!

i have found raw makes me feel wonderful and i no longer have any health issues. i think that a lot of people feel better following the blood type diet because they are eliminating many processed foods and junk foods.

also, even if you do believe in the blood type diet, they have found that there are now even more factors...secretor/non secretor status, etc. and so unless you know all of those things you could be following the basic diet and eating things that aren't good for you or avoiding things that are good for you.

i think eating raw "trumps" all diets...it's just the natural way to live and eating uncooked, unprocessed foods are wonderful for our bodies, no matter what our blood type!
