I have a chocolate cookie recipe using whole oat groats however I have been unsuccessful finding these locally. I see on the internet that I can substitute these with wheatberries. With the oat groats it said to soak them for 24 hours first and so I am wondering if I do the same with wheatberries. Any advice using wheatberries would be appreciated.

Do you have Alissa's book? It has a sprouting chart in it.

Yes, you Must Soak them to soften them. You can also try grinding them. But for the Best results you can Sprout........Dry.....and then Ground them up into a Flour.
