Hello from a new to raw Cali girl!

Hi, my name is Aileen, and I was recently introduced to the idea of RAW foods by a friend on another board. I used to be lacto-ovo veggie, and tried vegan for a while, but didn't have the health concerns that I do now, so the cravings did me in. I'm much more health conscious now, though, and even if I don't stay RAW for that long, I still think it's worth a shot at giving myself a bit of a 'kickstart'. I'm 33, married to a gorgeous Marine, and have a beautiful 2 year old daughter named Hannah who is the center of my world. We have 2 cats and a dog, and often joke that we're creating a Noah's ark. We recently bought a house here in SoCal, and are really loving life right now. I look forward to learning all that I can here, and hopefully applying it to my life the best I can!
