Thanks in advance for your help. I have had some trial and errors here in my first week of going raw and I have made some pivotal decisions. I originally was of the mindset that I was okay with adding some canned 3-bean salad to my green salads for variety, but the longer I stick with this raw thing, the more I realize that I want to go completely raw. With that said, I need some yummy toppings for my salads. I like to cut up an avocado on my salads and throw in a few olives (but they arent raw either). So, basically I am kind of stuck and out of ideas. I dont have a dehydrator and really dont have money in the budget to even think of buying one, so I kind of have to keep things simple as far as preparation goes. Any ideas?

- finely shred lettuce , then cover in raw salsa

- i use many different type greens , romaine / dandelion / kale / spinach / etc to vary taste . then i use aloto vegi per salad like brocoli / mushroom / onion / radish / asparagus / etc . crumbled walnuts are a hearty addition .

- i marinate tomtato in garlic / fresh parsley / with lemon juice for a nice salad dressing

- and you can use almond milk as a base then add ranch type seasonings for a raw vegan ranch

- up at page top theres a search feature , type in salad dressings and youll find a bunch o ideas

You can buy raw olives. Not sure if you can find them in your area or not. They are also available online, but maybe not at a price you can afford.

If you want a cheap source of protein, try sprouts. I like lentil or chickpea sprouts.

Mostly for salads, I just use lots of cut up veggies. I don't do dressing but I might have some lemon juice or salsa. In season, I use corn kernels.

I find adding a lot of different veggies gives it enough flavor, that not much is needed other than a bit of olive oil or lime juice. Other ideas: cayenne pepper, garlic, onions

Avocado Tomato Salad
Spinach or Baby Greens
Avocado
Tomatoes, chopped
½-1 Lime, juice
Dash Salt
Mix together.

i love adding all kinds of fruit to my leafy greens.
some days it's grapes and kiwi...or mango, strawberries, pears....
the possibilities are endless and the juiciness of the fruit doesn't make me miss dressing one bit!
