Hi, I'm glad to have found this website today and can't wait to interact with you guys and learn more about raw nutrition. This is not my first run in with raw food eating as a lifestyle, but, this time I'd like to make it permanent. My first effort was about 6 weeks ago. I went 70-100% raw for about 8 days and felt really great. My moods was better, patience was longer, I didn't draw blanks when trying to remember things and somehow managed to shed 7 lbs. Although, I went back to cooked food, I still haven't gained that weight back. I did regain my chronic neck and back pain, this time I want it gone for good. I did realize something in the time since my first attempt and now -- for me, simple is better. I have no desire to make recipes or anything more complicated than a small blender/chopper. It was way too much for me to juice and make a beautiful raw dish. So, this time I'll just eat the fruits and veggies whole (except the salsa and smoothies I like so much;)) and use the new gym membership I just received. My goals are to lose about 30 lbs of excess fat and rid myself of chronic neck, back and knee pain. Thanks so much for being here and I hope I can someday offer support to you:) And please for give my post if there are "h" problems as that key is loose on my computer

Welcome!

Simple is great, no need to get into the gourmet if you don't want to. And it sounds like you've had a glimpse of what raw can do for pain, isn't it fantastic!

All the best to you, I'm sure it will go really well. :D
