Hey there, im Paul and ive been suffering with skin issues for way to many years now. My main problems are acne, blackheads, flaky/dry and dull skin and as ive got older it has started to bother me more and more. Ive messed about with my diet before to improve it, but ive always been weak and ended up going back to the bad foods. Im going to attempt to eat raw as much as i can and hope it helps :)

Welcome! I'd bet a body part it will. That was the FIRST thing I notice change. You figure - our skin is out biggest organ, sooo....what you put into your body will show...
Have fun w/this healing journey...

Best of luck, just take it one step at a time and you are sure to be impressed with the results :-) Anything that we all can do to help, just let us know.

hi & welcome!
skin is the first thing to show if what we are eating agrees or disagrees with our bodies. i have the saem issues you've described--they dont just magically go away with age either! but it takes TIME like many weeks if not months to see results. i agree with another poster that meat/eggs/dairy is a culprit. as well as sugar and gluten. also shampoos and facial cleansers and soaps containign SLS (sodium laureth sulfate and its cousins) which is in nearly all soap products. you have to buy natural soap--read your labels. a lot SAY natural but are NOT at all. the more raw and natural you eat the better but keep in mind that the skin is one of the easiest avenues for our bodies to purge toxins so it MAY get worse first and THEN get better. be patient. & yes i agree that antibiotics make things worse longterm!
goodluck on your path!!!

Welcome :)
I know someone who healed his acne on raw. He had terrible skin probs for years and after going 100% raw for 6 months his skin started looking great. Now, 9 months later all the scars disappeared too.
Enjoy your journey and get well soon.

Welcome Paul. Skin issues are usually related to digestion and/or toxin issues. Raw should help clear that up.

Welcome!
Yup, the skin is the first place I noticed a difference (besides the higher alertness in the morning). I was just blown away by the results I achieved, that I'd been trying to achieve with so many expensive skincare products that ended up being useless.
Take it easy, treat it like a positive challenge and you'll do fine. :)
