Hi,
on several TV-shows you can see people who lost a lot of weight and their skin was not able to tighten up so fast.
What are your expiriences after you went raw and lost a lot of weight, did your body reacted in a different way or got your flesh tighten up after a period of time?
saludos,
Marcel

Marcel,
Here is a link. Phillip lost 200 plus lbs and he addresses the skin issue. http://www.lovingraw.com/blog/month/january-2009 search the site and you will find where he addresses this.
Seems with raw, the skin just tightens as it goes without any trouble. The power of raw!!!! Best.

I've done interviews with two people who've lost over 200 pounds w/in two years. I've asked them that question. To hear their answers check out:
Philip McClusky (http://rawkinradio.com/?s=Philip) (200 #'s in 2 years)
Clent Manich (http://rawkinradio.com/?s=Clent) (200 #'s in less than a year)

When I lost 100 pounds my first time going raw, my skin would be a little loose every 10lb or so, then it would firm up, and so on; by the end it was all firm (and I didn't even work out back then). It is different when you lose weight being raw vs. some other method (especially gastric bypass, which seems to produce the worst results for skin).
I was wondering the other day if it would be different now that I am a decade older, but I think it will be fine - raw food is magic!
Best Wishes,

I am almost 40 and lost about 30lbs. I may not be a good judge but...I did have 3 babies in 5 years and had quite a 'skin apron' lol. I have found that over the last 6mo any remnants of loose belly skin has disappeared. I do not do any situps or anything like that but I do run/eat raw. The other thing I would recommend would be to keep your skin well moisturized...I have used sesame oil or coconut oil religiously. Dry skin will not be quite as resiliant as moisturized skin. :)
