2 bananas (frozen if you prepared ahead of time)
4 handfuls of ice (probably 2 cups)
1 c. water
1/2 c. almond milk
2 T. flax
stevia
1 medjool date

Blend til icy-creamy consistency and thank God for putting such magnificence on earth. Who needs Coldstone?

Haha, isn't it funny when you find something like this to replace what you might have thought as an unreplaceable SAD food? I remember when I had a craving for Lays Potato Chips and popped some pumpkin seeds in my mouth instead...and was totally satisfied lol Doesn't really make sense, but it worked!!

Yum! I was just watching a Good Eats episode about bananas. He started to make "Banana Ice Cream" and I got all excited. My excitement died when he poured a small bowl of clear liquid in with the bananas and said to add corn syrup! Shame shame shame!
Man, I have a huge hankering for banana ice cream/smoothies now!

Yum, I love banana's! I had a banana shake today, six really ripe banana's and enough water to blend it, it was so yummy, nice and thick and sweet. I'm going to make these more often.

I too love carob powder in my banana, almond milk, date shakes.

Instead of ice, try freezing blended young coconut water and meat. It seriously takes this smoothie to a whole new level.
