View Full Version : alissa's strawberry pie does not get stiff ... :-o

hi, maybe someone can help me ...
i've just looked up the strawberry pie recipe from alissa's book and i made it accordingly ... at least i thought so ... the cake looks great ... but it will not get stiff ... i put it in the fridge hours ago, but i still can't cut it, because its still too soft ... is this meant to be that way?? :confused:

Maybe you could freeze it. I don't know what kind of cake it is, but the cheesecakes normally have to freeze a bit to cut, and then you can bring them to room temp for about 20 min before eating.

Yea, I went through the same thing with Alissa's Key Lime Pie... When I put it in the freezer.... WOWZERS!!!! :eek: I didn't see where she says how to store it, so I found that when I froze it the flavor REALLY came out!!!! I love the Key Lime Pie FROZEN!!!! Try that with the Strawberry one!!! :)
