I am back to Raw after a MAJOR slip. Here is what I had for dinner. I was having cravings for something bad, but pushed through.

This is a collard green wrap, dehydrated bread topped with light miso/avocado and sprouts and a salad with Liquid Gold Dressing from the Raw Revolution Diet. I think this dressing is going to be a favorite. It is the best dressing I've ever tasted and that is saying alot.

Thank you!!!!! I'd be your chef anytime.

Unfortunately, I got let go from my job and I went into a major depression. I sought all of the old comfort foods and went on a downward spiral for a couple of months. I'm back now and feeling better than ever.

One thing I did learn this last time is that I cannot have cooked foods AT ALL. It was a hard lesson to learn, but I think I finally got it.

I have indeed. I've been taking Raw uncooking classes for awhile and I think that I'm going to attend the Living Light Institute and get my chef's certification. There is definitely a market in the area I live in. Thank you for your kind words.

Do you mean the wrap? It was two collard green leaves. Inside was a pate, marinated veggies, sprouts and I placed a leaf of romaine lettuce on top to hold it all in place. If you have Alissa's video, I think she shows how to make a collard green wrap.

That looks absolutely delicious. I have yet to try any raw recipies but that is great motivation for me.

When you start playing with the recipies, that is when the fun really begins!!!! Well, at least for me that has been the case. Best of luck.

Thanks commoncents! There is this avocado & pineapple collard wraps I've been wanting to try. I think I am ready to add more variety to what I have been eating.

Your welcome. Yes, variety is the key to staying on this "diet." Fortunately, there are so many wonderful uncooking books, websites and videos that you can never get bored. Let me know how your collard wrap turns out. Take care.

I went through the same thing. Four months of denial and 15 pounds later I got it too.

Allison: It was over six months that I struggled with going back and forth with cooked food and 40 lbs. It feels so good to have control over my eating at last. Best of luck to you.
