I was just thinking of all the things I can't wait to do when spring and summer are here in Alberta. And then I thought of camping and the fact that everyone i know always brings an enormous amount of meat and eggs and jerky and It might cause some strain if i wasn't cooking and cleaning along with them to make meals. I obviously wouldn't go camping by myself... so I was thinking maybe some other raw people would. I thought I'd just ask and see if anyone in the area or any out of towners planned to come to the Canadian Rockies this summer, i'm not really picky about where to camp, but i think it'd be a fun idea.

would love to, but can't this summer :-) I'm going to be at Gallaudet learning sign language. Have a lot of fun, and I hope that you get it planned and make it happen!

Oh that sounds cool. Yes we will see if I can find some people to go with. :) It would sure be a lot more fun than typical camping IE roasting weiners and steak and sitting around smoking and drinking beer all weekend... seriously i'd rather stay home and sleep than do that. I want to go hiking and spend time outside. :)

Did some really amazing camping out by Lake Louise a couple of years ago on our way back from Alaska. Amazing trip. Canadian rockies are really beautiful.

sounds like fun. I live in BC and have never camped in AB. When were you planning to go?

I have not made any plans yet. I was just thinking wouldn't it be cool to get a bunch of raw fooders in canada together to go camping? Then everything isn't centralized about constantly building fires to cook food, or sitting around eating chips and drinking. I haven't gotten to go camping a lot even though i live here, my friends never get it together more than once or twice a year lol. But sometime in late spring or summer when it's nice, i think it'd be cool and maybe do some hiking and nature walks and have fun.
