I have seen alot of videos on tim van orton and some articles about raw food athletes. I play basketball and i was wondering if 100% raw food diet combined with leg training would increase my vertical by alot. Like i hear people saying that they feel lighter since going raw i bet that could help. Also tim van orton said he has to cut down on upper body training cause he was gaining to much muscle:eek:. He also says recovery is alot faster so i guess i would recover from my leg training alot faster.I want to be around 180 pounds im 5 11 with like 5% body fat. Hope the raw food diet helps me to achieve this and if i could dunk a basketball i would be really happy.:D

I haven't even been 100% raw for the past few months and can still see a significant difference when I run. I can run longer and faster and for a longer period of time. I am pretty sure its because of the food I am eating. I am sure eating raw would help you with your basketball training :)

About 3 weeks after starting raw, I found that out of nowhere I had these urges to run, daily. Sometimes more than once. I also started a capoeira class. Prior to raw, it was almost impossible for me to find the motivation to run, and I would rarely run even half a mile without stopping. With raw though, not only am I happy to get on the treadmill, but once I start, the miles fly by. It's hard for me to imagine that you won't find similar benefits in your basketball by switching to raw.

I've been raw for 2 weeks, and normally after really exerting myself at the gym or playing basketball I would be quite sore for 2-4 days. That was being about 50% raw. Now that I am 99% raw I was absolutely shocked that my muscles didn't hurt at all the next day, and even after working out and eating, i feel like i can go back and work out some more. I decided to go raw so I could have more energy and start playing sports again instead of being exhausted after an office job, I am so happy about it, I'm glad I want to get out and do more things
