I was wondering if youre fasting and start consuming bad things and more than once and on more than one fast will your body reach a point where it is permanently damaged or where it wont do any more cleansing on any future fasts?

A fast means you are abstaining from eating for a period of time so if you start eating anything you are essentially ending the fast. I think the problem with eating junk while fasting is that it is a bad way to end a fast because it will make you sick and could even put you into the emergency room at the hospital. There is a much better and safer way to end a fast then eating heavy concentrated calorie foods.

i obviously know there are better ways to end a fast than eating calorie condensed processed crap if im on a raw foods forum. I have problems and made bad decisions while fasting and was just trying to find out the extent of damage and what not.

How Many days at a time are you Fasting? Maybe you should take shorter ones for a while. You can do a l day Fast or a 4O day. Never set yourself up for Failure so start with fewer and grow from that.

You end a Fast slowly because your digestive system has been asleep and you want to gently wake it up by gradully introducing soft Foods. Once is is awake you can eat Normal.

You can always cleanse on a Fast and you can not permanetly damage your body. Your Stomach can hurt SO BAD you might think you are dying because of the Cramps. So just be Nice to it after it has been nice to you.

fasting gives the body an opportunity to heal. so... even if you break a fast incorrectly... (which is not advisable) you have the possibility that your body will heal any damage done from that break by either a) eating a raw food diet which is very healing and b) doing another healing fast and breaking it in a healthier way.

do i personally believe you can cause irreversible damage from ending a fast in an unhealthy way? no i don't. i haven't found any "proof" of that. but that doesn't mean i'm right it's simply my opinion.

i can say (from my own experience) that my body is much happier when i break my fast gently with simple mono fruit meals - anything heavier and my body aches...

Fasting will heal regardless. What will do the body damage is the poison being put in it. My only concern is the poison will have done damage to body organs that will be irreversible. Irreversible body organ damage will be too late for a fast, although a fast will ease the dying person's experience.

I guess it's all in what you believe. I believe the power of the mind is very very powerful so I choose to believe EVERYTHING is possible. :)
