eatofu--are you a student? if so it might be a better idea to bring the food back to your room to make a smoothie? good luck with trying it in the cafeteria though ;p sometimes its fun to try to get away with "cheeky" stuff like that.

A Bullet or similar small blender would be just fine. (and you can just put it in your bag)

lol . . . yes, if you do it, take pics :D .

I have a big bag full of tupperware and I very sneakily take a lot of produce out of the cafeteria. My blender stays in my dorm room . . . it is a vitamix, so I can't imagine carrying it with me anywhere.

Yes I'm a student. I guess I'll ask them if I can bring some veggies. Should I put them in a zip lock bag?

i wouldn't even ask. i'd just stuff them in my bag. like put in a ziplock or tupperwear and put that in my bag and walk out. then if they stop you you can be all like i just wanted to eat in my room, or i'm sorry i didn't know or something.

actually i just usually carry a bandana around with me, and i'd put it in that and wrap it up and head out. always carry a bandana. they come in handy so much for everything.

good luck.

cleaning messes, wiping your face when it is dirty, or if it's hot you can soak it in water and put water on your face, or if you are peeling a fruit and you don't have anywhere to put the peels like if you're in the car you can put them in the bandana till later (always carry a knife, too), or if you are on the beach and you are collecting sea shells and you don't have a place to put them you can put them in the bandana, and wrap it up like a little bag, or... like a million other uses! =D

ps - eatofu , im not laughing at the idea . im sorry if it sounds that way , and actually i dont see anything wrong with bringing the blender to make smoothies . i was just having fun joking around because it sounds kinda funny someone bringing a blender to cafeteria , not an everyday occurence .
so i was just using the opportunity to have fun , while not really thinking its a bad idea .
