I had been doing so good. Really good. When I fall, I fall hard and I have not been listening to my body tell me to knock it off for the last three days. Stupid me.

I did a 49 day juice fast and it was incredible.
Found out that we are pregnant and gently broke the fast on March 3.
Continued to break fast through the 7th eating lightly and introducing more foods as I was able to tolerate them, had no problems with any food.

Then, blew everything and started a SAD food party on Monday night the 9th, got increasingly more ill as the days went on until now here I am so sick, doubled over in pain and wanting to curl up in a ball and die. Seriously.

What can I do. I have not eaten anything yet today. I plan on staying with raw from here on out. This is ridiculous. What can I do to help my body? I feel so very ill. Juice?

Thank you.

(((Hugs)))

Personally, I would go with a 24 - 36 hr. water fast, then gently move back into juices and finally 100% raw.

Yeah I agree. Do a nice 24 hour water fast drinking lots of water to try to get that junk out of you. Congrats on the baby! Maybe it will be an einstein beacuse of all of the raw food its getting :P

I wouldn't stress about being pregnant...morning sickness steals the appetite and proper eating out of so many first trimesters anyway. A lot of women don't even have a choice in the matter.
Also, I seem to remember from my pregnancy reading days that the baby isn't even attached itself onto you yet, like no umbilical cord feeding off of you, so it might not even matter for that reason as well....but my memory is sketchy on this, and I don't know how pregnant you are either...I believe you have to be 7-8 weeks along before it embeds itself into the lining.

Point is, I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor in what you decide...

HI Alisha,

So sorry to hear you are feeling horrible (((hugs))). I would do juice everyday but eat raw as well. You need to feed your body and your baby.

How about some green smoothies to fill you up whenever you crave cooked food?

love to you and your new little light,
Aleesha

Thank you everyone for your help.

I have been sipping on lemon water and I am feeling a wee bit better right now. I am thinking of just curling up on the couch and watching animal planet and napping if I can.

I am about 7 weeks, roughly, so still early.

I am still craving cooked foods, how sick is that? I feel like an addict.

Thanks again for all of your advice. I am going to make some juice and take it easy today.

I would drink juice today. Especially if you're pregnant you need something in your body for the baby. See how you feel tomorrow. If you don't feel good stick with juice. I would do that until you feel okay enough to eat regular raw food. Feel better!

if i were you i'd do a green smoothie thing for a little bit till you feel better. i wouldn't fast since you are pregnant though. just me.

i'd find a yoga instructor that specializes in prenatal yoga. i think this is very important and will definitely make you start feeling better and get you on track. just do it. you'll thank me later.

go for a walk. just do it. a small short walk outside. no complaining about being too sick to do this. illness behavior breeds illness.

get a neti pot and clean out your sinuses. trust me. this will do wonders for your overall well being you will feel better immediately.

you'll question how this will work or why if you were raised in conventional society most likely. it is good to question before you act, but sometimes it is better to just let go and be open to things that can't possibly harm us either way and open our hearts to experiences we normally wouldn't be open to.

good luck. I know you can do it. <3

I believe you have to be 7-8 weeks along before it embeds itself into the lining.
Implantation actually occurs between days 5-14 after conception, just so you know!

Hi Azaria...I had to verify that because I remember someone saying once that that's why they had to wait so long to do an abortion, because they had to make sure it's attached to the lining...I know...horrible reference.

Anyways, so I did some digging, it seems it happens somewhere in the third week after conception, according to this link atleast. http://www.pregnancy-calendars.net/week3p.aspx

you are both saying the same thing. since it says conception is week three... and she's saying you attach 5-14 days after conception. ;)
