I work in a small office closely with 3 other guys and everyone around here has noticed that i eat salad every day and a grapefruit and other fruit for breakfast and i always decline to cake and desserts. My boss went and asked everyone today if they would go for lunch at the farmer's market a few minutes away and then before they answered, he added because Miss Veronica can join us then. :) I am shocked that they would do that, because i've had no problem telling them at the company anniversary party i won't be eating the 10 course chinese food dinner lol. Our farmers market has tons of food stands of cooked food to eat or heat up later, but im sure i will find some fruit or salad I can pick up. I'm excited, i haven't been there all winter.

Your boss is so considerate and very nice of him to change his plans to a more healthy lunch instead of the cooked SAD avenue. Maybe your workplace can go somewhat raw from now on.

lol i don't know about that haha. These boys live off of microwavable, frozen, canned food. They do birthday parties at work for everyone and mine is in 2 months, so i am hoping they don't just get me a fruit basket, i could suggest a raw cake they could order from a new restaurant in town. :)

Cool experience.
You must be puttig out good energy with your RAW journey up. Keep it up and allow the universe to make these sort of experiences the norm instead of a shocking exception.
You are attracting good stuff, and you are so so worthy of it!!!

Just came back, everyone had donairs or schnitzel lol, i bought a bunch of organic berries and ate them as is. I also found a great deal on raw hemp hearts and some untainted dried fruit, i was quite pleased. I love my farmers market

Hi Veronica, glad you're having wonderful experiences with your co-workers. It's nice to hear positive experiences too! I have found when I've been the sole female amongst a group of men in the workplace, their protection, adoration energy kicks in. You are divine and they see your divinity as a woman. It's a nice benefit - especially at work! lol. We oftentimes don't see it because of all the attention placed on sexual harassment (which is valid), but this is not that - this is something entirely different. Appreciation is a good word that sums it right up. They appreciate you. :)

That's great, isn't it wonderful to get some concessions at work? Wish my boss would take us all to a farmers market!
We had a pizza lunch supplied by my company last week and my boss went and got me a plain salad and juice from a juice bar! I was so impressed. I felt like part of the team just that little bit more. :D

Aww that's nice. It was funny when we were driving back they were all asking me questions. "So you don't eat meat" No.. "Well what about fish?" lol. "Do you feel ok not eating meat?" hahaha. even when i ate meat it was only once a day and i never felt like i needed to eat it, i just liked grilling.

Congrats on being a shining example of eating raw. As a male, it's usually quite hard to convince us that going without meat is good for the body. We have been pretty much trained (bamboozled) that meat has been the main course of food since the beginning of mankind. It took quite a jolt for me to make the transition from meat & SAD diet to raw. So again, kudos on being an awesome example. :)

That's awesome. It's nice to know that some guys are willing to put their health first because society is always twisting the idea of actual food on tv. I have never seen a commercial for fruits and vegetables, unless it was somebody selling something to use on them. lol All you see if milk, egg, meat, pork, bread and cereal commercials. It's pretty sad they have to keep reinforcing it everyday or people might try something else that doesn't make them money. I am really skeptical on anything that is advertised heavely or condoned by the fda.

Weird, I've actually seen commercials for fruits and veggies lately, but they were more aimed at promoting fresh food from Chile :-\

lol yes I definitely had not seen those. In canada we don't really have grocery store commercials for produce. All i see is Superstore ads for frozen President's choice meals, everything they have is frozen! I was terrified of using a microwave too much before raw, now i wouldn't even dare touch it.

Yay one of my coworkers in the next cubicle has asked for my help with a nutrition plan as he'd like to release some extra weight and be healthy. He's scared because his parents have a lot of health problems and he's in his 20's and doesn't want to be the same. I shared some of our pictures with him and gave him tips on increasing fruits and adding green smoothies. :)

and a FARMER's market Veronica01??? that's great!!!!!! wish i had one near me....
i agree that its harder for a guy to buy into the idea of raw. and SO many women are trapped into eating or at least preparing SAD b/c of that.
