So, I was at the local grocery store today, looking for more celery, and the produce guy was there, stocking things.

"You don't have organic celery, huh?" I asked
"We used to, but I would end up having to throw it out. It didn't move at all," he said. "This isn't really an organic store, so I just order what gets bought."
After a few more minutes of chit chat, I asked, "So, how big of an order for organic celery do you need to get, like 12 or 24 bunches in a case?"
"Hold on, I'll go find out," he said, and he went to the back. Came back with his printout from his produce supplier, and went through it.
Turns out, he can order THREE bunches of organic celery at a time!

Tomorrow, I'll be picking up my 3 bunches of organic celery at my local store :p

Yeah! Good for you! I've learned to always ask for what I need from the produce section...I usually get the answer I want to hear.:)

That's so great! Our grocery stores are pretty small, i rarely if ever see someone putting fruit out let alone a produce manager. :)

I'm going to start asking for things more often...but the produce here sucks in general (especially since it is still sort of winter).
