Peace everyone,

I've had some trouble trying to avoid this, but it seems to keep happening. I Know that the best way for me to get away from this is to simply replace that with something else in its place, but i've just struggled finding out what that "something else" could be.
Now i always feel, just like someone mentioned on another thread, that if i'm gonna binge on anything it might as well be something raw! (I'll never forget that statement!) And while that's True, i still wanna improve on my eating. I have no sort of weight problem, so i don't have to worry about that being an issue.
I Know that nuts are loaded with nutrients, so i wanna continue consuming them, just in the right and exact proportion.

Has anyone else had this issue before???
Any advice??

PEACE

I use to go through about a pint of cashew butter every week when I first started. When my body stopped craving them so much it allowed me to stop eating them. On raw it is always best to let your body talk to you. You just have to be quiet and listen to it.;)

My first attempt at raw, I had to have nuts all the time. THis time around, I soak my nuts as suggested and there are many days, I dont' evevn think about eating nuts. If I do, I eat a few, I just don't crave them like I used to. Are you adding other fats like avacado, flax, coconut etc?? :)

Weekly, I usually go through about one jar of nut butter and one jar of sunflower. Cutting down on the fat is so hard to do.... it seems that every recipie out there has nuts or seeds in them. Being a raw food newbie, craving alot of seeds and nuts just seems the natural, fattening thing to do. So sorry I don't have a solution for you. Nevertheless, I can sympathize !

Yes. I consume avocado's regularly; either alone or part of my big salad dish later in the day.
