can u put wheatgrass into ur smoothie? i've read the term "wheatgrass juice" but i haven't seen it in a recipe (but then I didn't look at very many recipes yet).
also is it easy growing them?
what type of grower should i buy? How much wheatgrass should I consume everyday?

Yes.
Yes.
Simple is best.
As much as you want.
Okay, long answers now. yes, you can include wheatgrass in smoothies, IF you have a powerful blender, such as a VitaMix. Start with a small amount, and work your way to larger quantities. I like to include wheatgrass in my morning smoothies with parsley or kale.
yes, it is easy to grow, if you have somewhere that gets indirect sunlight.
We got plant starter trays at our local hardware store (about $2 each), and I've been saving the square planter that store-bought wheatgrass comes in. I plant my own wheat in them, and keep them in the starter trays.
My DH and I can each consume one storebought pot at a time, either as straight juice, or in a smoothie. We've been working our way up to this. The juice is very powerful, and keeps me wired for a few hours. If it's in a smoothie, the additional fibre from the grass can be an issue if you aren't used to that much fibre. That's why I say, start with a smaller amount, like 1/4 of a storebought tray, and gradually work your way up.

I have heard somewhere that it isn't good to put wheatgrass in the vitamix because it gets wrapped around the blades. Is this true? Anyone tried it over a long period of time and everythings fine?
just cutting the blades up a bit before placing them into the blender will allow them to blend without wrapping around.

be careful using it in smoothies, the grass is very fibrous and hard to digest (which is why it is usually juiced, not blended).
