yes, so I'm starting to prepare my own raw food now...and I tried sprouting beans. A hummus recipe I read said it needed 1.5 cups of beans, so thats what I did...I got 1.5 cups of raw beans...actually more like 1.25 cups, and I soaked them last night until today. I look at the water, it was black (black beans) and when I drained it, I realized how much beans there was!!! I have soo much! I have too much for hummus, and I was wondering..I cant eat all these beans, I'll share with my family...but does anyone know how long sprouted beans will last for?

I'm gonna read on old posts for ideas on what to make, and I'll look online as well...I already found a couple of recipes.... mostly I need to know how long they will last for.

I was just wondering if beans could be frozen once sprouted?

What I've done in the past is to dry sprouted beans in the dehydrator and then when I need them again, I'll soak overnight in water to re-hydrate them.

Yes, they can be frozen.
